Like Fernando de Noronha, the Abrolhos Archipelago is a National Marine Park. Abrolhos has the greatest marine biodiversity in Brazil and is considered a milestone in the history of Brazil for being the first National Marine Park.
The archipelago, made up of five islands, is the most important nursery for humpback whales in the South Atlantic – more than 20,000 whales leave Antarctica every year to mate and breed in the warm waters of Bahia. Creating a show jumping and enchanting everyone.

With its wild look, its mangroves teem with life and its trails reveal empty and peaceful beaches. In addition to these attractions, the island brings together remnants of Atlantic forest and cerrado, functioning as a region that houses several biomes.
This complex of rivers, streams and mangroves form the largest mangrove forest in Bahia, a spectacular attraction for ecotourism lovers.
On the banks of the Peruípe River, the city of Nova Viçosa is located between the municipalities of Caravelas and Mucuri, approximately 300 km from Porto Seguro, in the extreme south of Bahia.
Its center is full of rustic and colorful houses, restaurants and kiosks, as well as extensive and beautiful beaches.
